      MY '97 TAHOE HAS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. I HAVE HAVE OWNED THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE NEARLY 10 YEARS AND IT LOOKS GOOD, RUNS VERY WELL COMFORTABLY & QUIETLY ON THE OPEN ROAD. IT'S A BOSS OFF-ROAD, EASILY NAVIGATING OLD LOGGING ROADS CRISS-CROSSING MY MOUNTAINOUS PROPERTY IN NW NORTH CAROLINA BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS. "THE BEAST" NEVER FAILED TO GET US WHERE WE NEEDED TO GO - DAY IN DAY OUT. - EVEN AFTER HURRICANE SANDY BROUGHT MONSOON-LIKE RAINS FOR 3 DAYS THAT EVOLVED INTO A BLIZZARD, DUMPING SEVERAL FEET OF SNOW THAT LASTED OVER A WEEK AT OUR ELEVATION. THOUGH MUCH OF OUR COUNTY WAS PARALYZED, WE WERE ABLE TO GET AROUND WELL ENOUGH TO GO ANYWHERE OR DO ANYTHING WE NEEDED TO DO. HAVING 7 PASSENGER CAPACITY WAS A GAME WHEN ASSISTING OTHERS IN THE AREA GET NEEDED SUPPLIES, ETC., WHO WERE NOT SO WELL EQUIPPED. OUR 1997 TAHOE HAS NEVER FAILED TO DELIVER DEPENDABLE, POWEREFUL PERFORMANCE - EVEN IN THE MOST RUGGED ENVIRONMENTS AND DEMANDING CONDITIONS.
